Scholarships

The Boards of Service de santé de Chapleau Health Services (SSCHS) and Chapleau General Hospital Foundation (CGF) are pleased to announce the launch of a new scholarship program aimed at providing financial assistance to Chapleau citizens enrolled in certain health programs.

The Health Professional Recruitment and Retention Committee has worked hard over the past two years identifying different strategies which will help SSCHS overcome staffing vacancies. Currently, SSCHS is facing a serious staffing crisis in the following disciplines: Registered Nurses, Registered Practical Nurses, Social Workers, Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy. Given this, these four roles have been selected as the educational paths that will be supported by the SSCHS Scholarship Program.
