Visitor Information

Patients at the Chapleau General Hospital and Bignucolo Residence may receive visitors at the following times:

Acute Care:  12:00 pm to 8:00 pm

Maximum of two visitors at any one time.

Bignucolo Residence

In support of providing a home-like environment, it is acknowledged that Residents may have visitors at various hours. However, visitors will be encouraged to attend between 12:00 pm and 8:00 pm to facilitate the Residents' care needs and building security.

Smoking

As per legislation, no smoking is permitted in the hospital or within 9 meters of an entrance. Cigarettes are not to be disposed of on the ground. Smoking allowed in the designated areas only, using designated safety ashtrays.
