Goldcorp Funds New Equipment for Foleyet Nursing Station

The Chapleau General Hospital Foundation is pleased to announce that a new vital signs monitor has been purchased thanks to a generous donation by Goldcorp. Donations over Christmas by Foleyet donors have combined with a $3,637 contribution from Borden Gold to purchase this new machine.

The Foleyet Nursing Station, one of Services de santé de Chapleau Health Services' (SSCHS) locations, provides basic health care to local residents. The new vital signs monitor will give these residents and their health care team fast, reliable information on blood pressure, breathing, and temperature.

"As a company that cares about safety, Goldcorp has supported Services de santé de Chapleau Health Services on multiple occasions. We want the communities around Borden Gold to enjoy the benefits of this project and are very proud to help the Foleyet Nursing Station in this way" said Borden Gold Project Manager Luc Joncas.

Replacing the vital signs machine has been a priority for SSCHS, and Goldcorp's quick response to this need is greatly appreciated. Foleyet residents have also been very generous in donating and should be proud of their part in this achievement.
