Legion Foundation and United Way Boost Local Hospital

Two donors that have consistently supported the Chapleau General Hospital Foundation are United Way and the Legion Foundation. Recently the Royal Canadian Legion, Ontario Command Brand and Ladies Auxiliaries Charitable Foundation provided two donations towards improving health care in Chapleau. The first donation was towards the Caring Project - their donation will cover the cost of a new bed and matress for a Chapleau resident living in long-term care at the Bignucolo Residence.

The second donation was towards the new bladder volume instrument pictured here. This equipment helps guage how full the bladder is and will help patients in a variety of situations - acute care, palliative care, and even long-term care. United Way has also donated towards the bladder volume instrument making its purchase much more affordable for our hospital. Our thanks to these two donors who consistently help our hospital be the best it can be!
