Donation from Rotary Means New Stretcher for Chapleau

Your local hospital can now proceed with the purchase of a new hydraulic stretcher for the non-urgent patient transportation van thanks to a recent donation from the Rotary Club of Chapleau. With a donation of $6,000 the Rotary Club has completed the fundraising for this new stretcher.

The Chapleau General Hospital Foundation is grateful for the positive impact Rotarians have on our hospital and community. Hospital equipment needs community support to be purchased. This new stretcher will make improve the quality of the patient transfer experience.

As previously announced, Brunswick House First Nation and The Royal Canadian Legion, Ontario Command Branches and Ladies Auxiliaries Charitable Foundation each contributed $5,000 towards this stretcher. For more information on the Chapleau General Hospital Foundation and how you can contribute call us at 705-864-3053, or find us on Facebook.
