Acute Care Unit

Care is provided in the Acute Care Unit by a multi-disciplinary team consisting of physicians, registered nurses, a dietitian, physiotherapist (once weekly) and other healthcare professionals. The 13 bed Acute Care Unit has both private and semi-private rooms with a view of the surrounding wilderness. Located within the unit is a sitting room for patients and families to gather in the event of a crisis or as a quiet place to get away for a few minutes.
