Catch the Ace

Catch the Ace logo

"Catch the Ace" is a progressive raffle with a total of 24 draws. This raffle is a fundraiser to replace beds, mattresses, and other furnishings in Chapleau's long-term care residence.

As of April 11th, the Catch the Ace prize has topped $600! This prize can be yours if you can find the Ace of Spades on a board of 52 cards. Want to participate? Click here for more details.

The Caring Project

Caring Project logo

The Caring Project aims to make life safer and more comfortable for community members living in long-term care. Fundraising efforts will continue until all twenty-five residents have received a complete new set of furniture. Click here for details.


Caring Project Update

The local effort to replace furniture for Chapleau's long-term care residents continues with two more rooms now ready to be refurnished. The Caring Project launched in December 2016 by the Chapleau General Hospital Foundation has a goal of replacing the furniture in all 25 Bignucolo Residence rooms. Nine rooms are now fully funded thanks to United Way, the ATV Raffle, a recent yardsale, and ongoing donations by community members.

Christmas Donations Help Bignucolo Residence and Foleyet Nursing Station

Bignucolo Residence resident

Over the holidays, residents of Chapleau and Foleyet gave generously to two local fundraising initiatives. A combined total of $5,712.88 was raised, a new record amount of Christmas giving for the area.

The Bignucolo Residence is Chapleau's only long-term care residence. The Caring Project will improve the quality of life for residents by replacing furniture in all twenty-five suites.
