Emergency Services

When medical emergencies occur, Services de santé de Chapleau Health Services is prepared to provide 24 hour safe, quality care. Each year the SSCHS emergency department addresses nearly 1800 visits. The emergency services department provides 24-hour emergency nursing coverage, an on-call physician along with a full complement of medical and technical services and equipment to treat medical emergencies. Patients are seen and assessed by the nurse and then treated based on urgency utilizing the Canadian Triage and Acuity System.

In addition, out-patient clinics offer Holter Monitoring, blood testing, x-ray and ultrasound.
